"Let's keep it simple. I'm going to teach you how to pray by example, step by step.
1. Get out your Bible and find a verse in at least three places where what you want is promised to you. If you can't find a specific verse, don't worry, you'll find what you need under the categories below.

Good health/healing

Wisdom/intelligence
-
Success/prosperity/wealth
-
Love/successful relationships
-
God's Power/ability/strength
-
Your ministry/calling/destiny
Knowing that it's God's will to bless you with your need or want because you found what you need in the Bible, you can have faith that God will answer you.
2. Go to Matthew 6:25-34. Having answered prayer requires consistent Kingdom Living thinking. This is a mentality you must have or develop. Read over the verses from Matthew and confess: "God has taken care of all my needs because I seek first His Kingdom through Jesus Christ. I don't have to worry or have concerns. I seek first His Kingdom by putting God first in my life and living according to His Word by faith (this means that you will live God's Word as you learn it).
Confess that you believe God wants you to have your desired request. This will build faith before you pray.
3. Read Mark 11:25-26. Make sure to forgive all including yourself before you pray. Your prayer cannot be answered if you don't. This is for your benefit as you cannot communicate with God in faith if you have bitterness in your heart against any. FORGIVE!!!
4. Create a clear picture and statement of what you want. You can't receive anything from God if you are double-minded or are unsure of what you want. You have to want your request with all your heart. Be specific according to James 1:5-8.
5. Say the prayer of faith according to the Biblical principles from Mark 11:22-24.

Picture yourself entering the gates of heaven to go before God through Jesus Christ.

Begin your prayer in our Heavenly Father's name (Dear Heavenly Father or Father)

Thank and praise God before you ask for anything.

Use your foundation scripture to ask for your request in the name of Jesus Christ according to St. John 14:12-14 Heavenly Father, (Quote the scripture that proves God's will such as 1Peter 2:24)...according to your Word, you have provided healing, therefore Heavenly Father I pray that you will heal me of asthma in the name of Jesus Christ.)

Immediately thank God for what you requested because He has already given it to you.

Close your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ and say Amen after you are done thanking God that He has answered your prayer. You can take as long as you wish to do this.

Keep thanking God for your answer. There will most likely be a time element involved. However, if you follow my instructions in Step #3, you can expidite receiving what you asked for.
Manifesting Your Request By Faith
God answered your prayer the moment you made your request. Now it's up to you by faith to bring the manifestation of your request into the physical realm. God is a spirit, and therefor prayer is a spiritual transaction. You will need to create what God has done for you in the spiritual realm by faith to physically receive it.

Keep saying "I believe I receive....(what you asked for) in the name of Jesus Christ!"
